5 August - Cabinetry

I have spent a few days making a wall cabinet for my mum's kitchen.

10 August - Weddings, etc.

After some years without going to any weddings we've just recently attended a couple in quick succession, and then I've been helping a friend build a garden wall and shed... Luckily my wife came back after two days as already this much veg needed picking!

15 August - Where does the time go?
This month seems to be passing in a bit of a blur, with school holidays and various trips etc. My elder son has a new bike and has learned to ride it in just two days, plus we've had to go shopping for school uniforms (at seemingly vast expense), shoes etc...

25 August - Painting a friend's house
I have spent a few days in London painting the outside of my friend(and colleague)'s house with him. The weather has not made it easy but we've just about managed to get it all done.

30 August - Potato harvest

My wife has been digging up the spuds, including one moster which is as big as a house brick!
