2 July - Shutters installed
I have bought some very expensive lead weights, lots of sash cord and some brass ring lifts, and installed the shutters. Now I just need to cover them with the boxes.
5 July - Boxes on
I have covered up the shutters with the new boxes. Now for a load of painting. |
20 July - Finished!
At last, all done, papered, painted and ready to go. I need to finish the top flaps for the shutters but that won't take too long, and we have some new
visitors arriving very soon so I need to get things ready for them. |
22 July - WWOOFers
We have a couple from Spain coming to stay for a month as part of the WWOOF scheme, who we hope will
assist us round the garden and house in exchange for board and lodging.
