27 March - Right time to Buy?
In a time of economic uncertainty and falling house prices, it is perhaps a bit strange to start talking about property issues in early 2009. But thanks to the three 'D's - Death, Debt, and Divorce - there will always be some movement in the market. Also, as house prices have been falling consistently since November 2007 (source - Nationwide House Price Index), there is a backlog of people who have been waiting to buy. My personal experience of house buying tells me it is never the right time, as it is a life-changing financial decision to make whenever you take it.
